The protagonist in Saint Iggy is trying to make people think he's not a bad person. The people in his school judge him for how he looks not for who he is. Iggy then tries to do something helpful for his community so people think of him as a good person. This theme compares to the real world because people are always trying to impress each other. They always care for what others think about them and try to be someone they're not an that only leads to more problems.People are always trying to be what others want them to be. Others are always judged on how they dress and act not for who they are .

a) When Mr.Maloney says something to his wife that upsets her and drives her to kill her own husband ,I think the author did not include that pice of writing to keep us intrested in the story ,so we keep reading .

b)The title is symbolic of how she kill her husband with a frozen lamb leg

c)The protagonist is Mrs.Maloney , at first shes kind ,caring ,and loving but when her husband talks to her she becomes angry and upset and kill Mr. Maloney.

d)The theme is how quickly someone can change with a little bit of bad news because as soon as Mr.Maloney tells Mrs.Maloney something she becomes more serious and kills him with a leg of lamb.

1. Iggy gets suspended from school and is attempting to make something of himself so that he doesn't get expelled.It connects to the theme that anyone can accomplish anything if they put their mind to it and try hard, and that it doesn't matter if your poor or rich.

2. The most significant theme is that anyone no matter who they are can accomplish anything they put their mind to.The title connects to the theme "Saint Iggy" because it's calling him a saint and hes trying to do good so he can stay in school. Iggy supports the theme because he tries to do something helpful to the community and help others. The setting shows how it doesn't matter if your rich or poor you can help the community and others.

3. One of the themes that connects to the real world is what people think of you, Iggy spends most of his time thinking of a way to make people see him as a better person, like the real world most people care about what others care so they try to do things so others see them and consider them good people but to do it for fame is not truly a good deed.

The purpose of the lyrics ask the president if he cares about the war,does he care about all the the teenage boys dying.Does he care what the people think and how they feel when they see their son,brother,cousin,or husband coming home in a casket. They also ask if the president will listen if someone wants to talk to him or will he ignore others requests.Why is he cutting back on health care when there are million in need of it.


It talks about how war splits countries and families apart. People losing their jobs and health care because their poor.It also talks about how the president does not listen and keeps the soldiers in other countries losing thousands of good, young men.

Robber Sues Store He Robbed (CRAZY!!)

Scott Thomas Zeilinski is suing a store he robbed in 2007. Zeilinski is serving an 8-22 year sentence for the robbery because he threatened to kill the employees before grabbing some cigarettes and cash. As he was leaving, still making threats, an employee grabbed a gun and shot him in the arm and back. His lawyer says Zeilinski is asking in excess of $125,000 for pain and suffering and emotional distress (crazy person) what about all the people he threatened to kill for a few bucks and some cigarettes. The employees could have sued HIM for emotional distress, he held a knife to their necks and he wants money for it, what a jack-ass! The owner spent thousands of dollars to increase security so the people are safe because of Zeilinski. Makes people suffer and then sues them. I can't believe this is legal.

P.S.
I think he should be in the loony bin instead of jail.

Pathos(emotional appeal)-The video shows pathos on how Schwarzenegger promises lower taxes and a better time than before, so he brings in adults who don't want to pay too much for taxes, yet there have been tax increases and many people have lost their jobs forced to live in their vehicles or anywhere they can find to live.They show the little kids skipping, and smiling at the end of the video so he brings in more people that want to be happy and worry free.




Logos(logic)-The video uses logos by saying the opponent wants a $10 billion tax increase so people don't vote for him, and they say Schwarzenegger will protect the California Dream, and they pull in parents by showing the little kids at the end running through the park holding hands.People who don't earn enough don't vote for the opponent because with a tax increase it will be harder for them to pay taxes, especially if they earn minimum wage.


Ethos(credibility)-It shows ethos by talking about Arnold Schwarzenegger.Who doesn't know Arnold?Hes a famous actor and hes familiar to people so they pick him.They know him from "Terminator" so he gets more votes, the other candidate isn't very well known, and the Schwarzenegger campaign says Phil Angelides wants a $10 billion tax increase, and no one wants more taxes than they already have.
